“DAVE & GOLLY”
- a tale of virtual loneliness
by Serge Ernandez & T.I.T.S.
In a world where every step of our lives is counting and feeding the algorithm spread, in “DAVE & GOLLY”, one single human finds themself in dialogue with homemade virtual characters. He/she/they asks us if technology helps to connect in depth and meaning, with other people or even find our “true” love.
What's that vague sensation? What void is that? What steers this stormy wheel behind an infinity roller coaster of emotions I am living in my online realm?
“DAVE & GOLLY” is an audio-visual performance in which T.I.T.S. are staging a play written by Serge Ernandez (FR/US). It is exploring the impact of social media, the 24-hour news cycle, and the internet, on the human psyche in a hybrid solo performance.
