Forced Beauty by T.I.T.S. is an audio-visual physical performance about power structures, violent aesthetics and the strangeness of empathy.
Welcome to a painful world of love and hate, of endless negotiation, pleasure and despair where two women crave to dominate each other. Female bodies that deconstruct their initial appearance, a subtle soundtrack, a video and a dense atmospheric performance which targets all senses. T.I.T.S. confronts their fascination with unrestrained expressions of violence with an exploration of mirror neurons and the audience's ability to experience physical empathy. The text is based on hate comments and threats towards women that escalate into freely available descriptions of homicides found online.
